OSIR is an [[Anglopediacracy]], as the team is under the leadership of [[Lrdmtns]] and is a spiritual successor to the [[High Speed Steel Private Military Corporation (HSS PMC)|HSS-PMC]] and [[Peoples' Gregic Society|PGS]]. As Lrdmtns was an active member of both teams and felt that both were under bad/inactive leadership so taking qualities from both OSIR was formed. There was also the factor that the KGKD/Q Nation was filled with unskilled labour, and that had halted them in previous events, so OSIR was meant to rectify this hiring based on GT Skill<ref>This was the case at the start but it became a friendgroup at a certain point so hiring is not completely based on this</ref>.

The team is also a direct descendant of the HSH Coalition from the [[Warfactory Event]] forming around half the memberlist, This was done as both [[Oliwier509]] and Lrdmtns recognized that there was potential in their continued collaboration<ref>This was also due to the fact that while they were all in one team it became hard to manage</ref>. The other half comes from various events and GT playthroughs. These factors make the memberlist of OSIR very capable, as a majority of the people there have finished a major GT pack.

The team is known for a very eccentric battle strategy, mainly coming down to whatever is the funniest option at that specific moment, as the 3 founding members<ref>[[Lrdmtns]], [[10StarScylla]] and [[Jumbo]]</ref> are all extremely special. This is shown in the first military engagements in MCC among other things.

= Event History =
This is a brief list of the events that OSIR has participated in.
== Warfactory 1 ==
Warfactory was an event run by the leader of the [[High Speed Steel Private Military Corporation (HSS PMC)|HSS-PMC]] [[Chudcel]], and this was the first event they were "officially" participating in, and [[Lrdmtns]] was made leader for this event so there was a lot on the line, as well as this event was expected to just be HSS Vs WOG, which by the creation of OSIR was clearly untrue.
=== The Fall of the HSS ===
To put things basically HSS fell due to months of spite they built against each other, due to the argument culture that was prevalent in HSS. This came to ahead when new members were sick of the way [[Chudcel]] was acting during the event, and decided that they were just unnecessarily mean. All the while long time HSS members saw it as an opportunity to come out on top and claim leadership over Lrdmtns<ref>Another point of contention was there seemed to be an envy over Lrdmtns getting a leadership position, as some other members wanted it. To make the situation even worse he demoted some of those members</ref>.

This eventually culminated in it splitting into 2 sides, what is now OSIR lead by Lrdmtns and what is now HSS lead by [[Chudcel]]. While Lrdmtns was unsure on what to do, the true HSS side attempted to ally with HF but it fell through, as they were trying to capitalize on a peace talk months prior that Lrdmtns had made with Oliwier, and even that one fell through because Lrdmtns didn't have access to the internet at the time. All the while when this was happening Lrdmtns had no idea what to do until [[Trainvoi]] came in and tried to capitalize on the excess of extremely skilled players without a home.
=== Q Nation merge ===
Right before Lrdmtns got off for the day Trainvoi reached out and they vced very briefly and discussed peace terms and eventually reached a conclusion that the next day they would meet up at Q Nations base. When the server came up what remained of HSS set off for Q Nation while trying to escape the people trying to ransack HSS for the highly valuable machines. When they arrived it wasn't all that bad admittedly their powergen was lacking only consisting of 3 solar boilers but they made sure to buffer the steam and had a basic machine line.

As Lrdmtns was quite demotivated at the time due to the revealing of Samanthy there was not much activity on his end for the first bit of day 2. However once [[Wiezba]] secured a EBF from the ruins of HSS and the advent of the pyrolyse oven made it so they might be able to catch up to WOG.

=== Q Nation prosperity ===
After the realization that WOG was not far behind they they began the rush finishing kanthal coils, all the needed MV machines to get to HV, polyethylene and clayline all in the remainder of the day which put them inches from WOG. Now there where some conflicts especially between Lrdmtns and Trainvoi, regarding their powergen. Trainvoi opted for an LBB and Lrdmtns wanted to use an oil distillation setup.

This sparked a pretty long argument which disorganized the base but at a certain point it was organized again and they proceeded to start work towards autocrafting and other necessities.
==== Negotiations with HF ====
This was all put to a close as when WOG attacked on day 3 Lrdmtns knew to go to HF for help and this sparked a long peace talk between HF and Q Nation. The main thing was that HF was lagging behind in progression but would want OSIR/Q Nation to help with progression and take the little they had and bring it to HF. The main things were a HV machine line and an entire cleanroom and the stuff required for a vacuum freezer.

They eventually reached the conclusion that they would base together and decide if this was the right course of action.

== MCC ==
<b>M</b>inecraft <b>C</b>entralized <b>C</b>ivilizations, was an event done days after Warfactory 1. It was known from the start that this event would practically just be OSIR v Wog, and Lrdmtns only participated to make sure Wog wouldn't win another event. Adding on [[Jumbo]] to this day credits it as his favourite event. This was also the first event that OSIR properly played in. Adding on in the days following it Lrdmtns and Jumbo made the discord server for OSIR which was what formally created the team.
=== Prelude ===
During the downtime between WF1 and MCC, Lrdmtns and [[10StarScylla]] had gotten quite close by playing Wynncraft together daily. And at the end of WF1 Lrdmtns promised to [[10StarScylla]], that if he ever needed a team for an event to hit him up.

Once they were sure they would participate in this they happened to be in vc with [[Person Unnamed]]. As at the time they were still friends and they were playing Genshin together daily. Now as MCC consisted of a lot of people new to events as a whole, Lrdmtns saw an opportunity to troll a bit.

This culminated in him telling Unnamed to join Tungstenmans team, and using the spies they already had to hype Unnamed up until they got leader. This worked quite well and this is where the "32 PBFS" joke stemmed from, as Unnamed advised Tungstenman to make 32 of them for early steel production among other useless things. Hubble was also spying btw.

All of this was happening while Lrdmtns and [[10StarScylla]] were planning for the event. They made a large google doc for prep that detailed all the pre HV progression which was deemed ample enough for prep.

And finally they needed people, so they revived Q Nation<ref>Which is the most fire name ever btw</ref>. After this Lrdmtns brought on some of his friends such as [[Tachyon_Speed]]. Some HF people also joined such as the relatively unknown at the time [[Jumbo | Eierloch]] <ref>You're starting to see how this event formed OSIR as prior to this Lrdmtns unironically thought Jumbo was a Latinx 12 year old</ref>.

Another thing is that Lrdmtns and 10StarScylla are allergic to taking themselves seriously, and named this team KGKD which stood for "Karagümrük truck drivers society".

=== First couple hours ===
In the first few hours of MCC, Lrdmtns was busy studying chem and bio, [[10StarScylla]] was gooning or some shit idfk and the rest where doing ????. The main people online were Santa, Jumbo and Tachyon. This then caused OSIR to start considerably later than the rest of the server, thus causing Wog to secure an LV circuit hours before them.

This meant nothing in the face of the KGKD however, as once they got on they proceeded to secure an assembling machine in the first hour of them playing. Later securing an EBF in the second hour and making basic preparations for the MV age. As detailed in the doc they were to secure an oil distillation setup for power, and by the end of the day they were making very good progress towards securing an integrated circuit.
=== A war on 2 fronts ===
At this point we are at the start of day 2 and the KGKD was on its way to securing HV. And as the doc detailed they were to make a quad Ebf running on 16A MV with full Kanthal coils, which helped them create massive amounts of HV alloys. This then allowed them to create the ME System and enough guns to fuel an army. Which is what they then did.

Lrdmtns and [[10StarScylla]] collectively made the plan to attack all other teams on the server at the same exact time<ref>This was done by Lrdmtns to "Assert dominance"</ref>.

This plan excluded WOG as they did not know their coordinates at the time, but they knew the coords of TII and some other team lead by Svadmp forgot the name. Their plan was to send two groups, one to TII lead by [[Mapper31]] and another group to Svadmps team lead by Lrdmtns. Now as both teams were unsure on how to properly go about playing an event it was pretty clear OSIR would win, given that the other sides literally did not have any weapons.<ref>If I remember correctly TII had a "Mares leg" which is a meme item left in the pack as sort off noob trap as it practically does no damage</ref>

The assault on Svadmps base went as planned for OSIR as the base did not have a door<ref>Which was a staple of this campaign</ref> so they just entered through the exposed base and besieged their citadel. And all the while [[Mapper31]] was on his way to TII.

And again the raid on TII also went as expected as they just went through the hole that lead directly to their core, as again both teams neglected to install doors within their bases.

=== The move ===
After the raid they all came back to base and decided that a move was in order. And Lrdmtns was camping so [[Jumbo]] got control of OSIR to move to the new location. Now as they had an ME system they were able to do this easily and the move was performed, after this they worked on making a Sulfuric line and an Oxygen line.

This then prepped them to start work on PE which was done through Biomass<ref>Personally I think that a Naphtha setup for PE is more time efficient as you should be using Oil for power anyways but it <i>is</i> faster</ref>. Also they added [[Fedsmoker88]] to the team because Lrdmtns thought his name was funny.
=== Prosperity ===
Now they actually had a proper base, this is when the KGKD really started to take off. Also from here on out the main players in the base were Lrdmtns and [[Jumbo]] as the rest were busy with IRL stuff or were too incompetent to really contribute.

So from here while all other teams where stuck in early MV or late LV, KGKD was far ahead and on the path to EV. This got stopped when [[Trainvoi]] took the task for making Titaline, and took an entire day to make it as, "someone else can make the machines". And after an entire day he made a titanium line that didn't work causing Lrdmtns to have to fix it, and it took him so long he was able to prep for the rest of EV progression and reached IV in an hour after Trainvoi "finished" titaline.

Now as whoever made the recipes for guns in Warfactory is, for lack of a better word retarded, you needed ruthenium to make the RTM coils, required for some of the materials for "EV guns". Which if they got would practically make them unstoppable<ref>well thats if your enemies can literally be killed but ig I just suck</ref> as, in particular the VSS Vintorez had insane accuracy and a full auto mode. But with all the stuff added together it was practically a mid IV gun.

So Lrdmtns worked on handcrafting the platline far enough he could get the ruthenium required for the coils to cook HSS-G. [[10StarScylla]] worked on making the polyvinyl butyral for the magazines. And eventually they were obtained.

All the while Lrdmtns was revamping the Powergen and made 20 distilleries for scaling light fuel<ref>I was bad at gt at the time but for some reason our base shit itself when I turned it to diesel, no clue to this day why</ref>.

=== Prelude to the Siege ===
With VSS Dragunovs in hand a couple helicopters and full Ardite armor for everyone in the base, they decided that they would take on the entire server at once. This started with finding WOG's base and following tungstenman back to by baiting him out using "Charity". So they went over to raid WOG but due to an achievement triggering they picked up all their shit and dipped. And they did follow tungstenman for a while and posted a video fucking with him, which revealed Lrdmtns' waypoints causing [[Ndld24]] to find their base and leak the coords.

Now at this point they had essentially an entire continent claimed, and the weapons to fight every other team all at once. And with all the aforementioned stuff Wog was out to get them the next day. All the while they were building a palace on top of their base to assert dominance. Which was done as a meme but greatly helped in the later conflict.
=== Siege of the KGKD ===
The Siege of the KGKD was a 4+ hour besiegement of the KGKD, and was probably the most fun raid I've ever been in. Now prior to this the event organiser said to Wog and Tungstenman that they should merge to take down the KGKD, which didn't end up going through in actuality, but is interesting to think about.

The KGKD was far ahead of where Wog were at and both had similar active workers showing the KGKD's technological expertise, but Wog possessed far better raid planning, so even with the technological advantage the fight was about equal. And both teams were at their full power so the outcome of this would decide on which team was truly the "best".

Wog started off by all at once summoning all their members to the server, alerting all the KGKD members that a raid was incoming. Then they proceeded to make a claim right outside of KGKD's claims, which served two purposes, one to provide a place that all the members could /f home to to get to the soon to be battleground, as they were all spread out across the map, two was to act as a stronghold so if the line was pushed back to the claim they could defend and hopefully push it back<ref>This is foreshadowing btw</ref>.

The next move Wog took was to send out a tank and a helicopter to hopefully take out OSIR right then and there, and they managed to take out a few people using the tank. But due to the KGKD palace acting as a barrier to shellfire they were largely okay. But the main problem was in Wogs helicopter that was sending missiles into the side of the palace, if they were able to take out that helicopter the tides would greatly lean in the KGKD's favour.

So their first priority was to take it out which was done relatively fast with the use of KGKD's own heli and people on the ground shooting it down. This then allowed the KGKD to possess air superiority for the rest of the siege, and with the air superiority the tank was swiftly taken out and the rest of the KGKD members pushed back Wog killing a couple along the way and taking their gear. And then they pushed back to the Wog claim that then allowed them to try to push into the main structure, but then Wog member [[Simeon]] used a Phalanx to take out 6 KGKD members at once and that time window allowed Wog to push back and secure a second stronghold on top of a hill.

First priority was to push back Wog again and take out the members in the second stronghold, so [[Mapper31]] lead a taskforce to the top of the hill alongside [[Santacruzinnit]] and [[Tachyon_Speed]] that took out the Wog members and gave time for [[10StarScylla]], [[Corydora165]] and [[Lrdmtns]] to hatch a plan to truly change the tides.

They then uncovered the helicopters and while pushing back Wog to their first stronghold all the while [[10StarScylla]], [[Corydora165]] and [[Lrdmtns]] were using the helicopters to attempt to take back the stronghold.

From here Wog managed to push back the KGKD to their main base all the while using an armorset that allowed them to be unkillable that was an oversight from the Warfactory dev team, and by the nature of warforge claims at the time the battle practically ended in a stalemate. And soon enough the server closed to not be reopened again.

Regardless of the way it ended it still was immensely fun and sets a very high bar for the next "good" event WF2. It did start couple hours of dumb discord drama tho which was disheartening.<ref>Also in hindsight we should've made a different helicopters that could do claim damage but oh well.</ref>

===Conclusion===
MCC due to the existence of competition for Wog many strategies were created and tested in MCC, practically reinventing the wheel when it came to events. Now even though Wog and OSIR were far worse at GT then they currently are it still managed to be very competitive event.

This allowed many new strategies to emerge such as the use of temporary strongholds to act as an area where people can restock. As well as the KGKD showing that above ground bases may be a new meta for base building as it makes it easier to defend, this is compared to their predecessors which were just cobble gooncaves underground.

==Reform==
Now due to Lrdmtns' opinion on his and others play in MCC, believing that if they were to continue to win large changes were needed. First and foremost, making a centralized discord for OSIR, as prior to this point there wasn't one and it was more of a lose group of people that united when an event happened. This also consisted of Q Nation which had severe skill problems in some areas and major organization problems.

So Lrdmtns discussed with Jumbo and 10Star that if they were to continue they would need to reorganize, so when Lrdmtns, Jumbo and [[TheDiamondT]] played Technological Journey together it was talked about how they would make a "Discord" for the run, which would become OSIR.

So after a couple days the move was done, only taking the best people at GT and cutting all the dead weight. From here OSIR only had 14 members, and some had left due to tensions they had with other members now that they were unified. This was disheartening, but workable.

In the intermission between MCC and KiS they had reached UHV on their TJ run and were far better than they were before at GT, and had grown to 24 members.

They also changed their recruitment policy as with the advent of Samanthy and Celphei it made it so alts were commonly used within the community, making it so a proper recruitment and screening was needed for each member, making it so the growth was slow, but manageable. But this made it far more secure further aiding the group. So from here all their members were very versed in GT and could easily hold their own in an event.
=== Nova Initia ===
A far smaller server they played on. Nova initia was a Geopol server, which hosted some very infamous members of the Event community. Most notably Superobama and Dr.Beako. This server was mainly played by OSIR as a way to procrastinate off of playing TJ, and no MVPs or Members were taken on from Nova Initia.

=== Prelude ===
The server was shown to Lrdmtns and 10StarScylla by Superobama, and initially they were hesitant to join until Lrdmtns and Jumbo were waiting for circuit boards on TJ, and decided to play.

Now they had one goal in mind coming in, to defeat the North German Confederation. This was due to the fact that OSIR at the time consisted mainly of Germans, and not only that they were German nationalists. And after finding out Germany was lead by an israelite they decided to reclaim it in the name of Germania.

Lrdmtns went along with this cuz funny.

=== Start ===
They decided to name their faction on the server "Hyperborea" as they ran out of ideas or smth. They then setup base in Africa as Lrdmtns knew that ancient debris only spawned in specific sections of South Africa, while Jumbo mined and setup base Lrdmtns upgraded his fishing skill<ref>Fishing once levelled is a super good source of XP, as to research Slimefun you need a lot of XP</ref> and got some miners from the mod "Slimefun". He realised that using the miners you could setup multiple miners at once and methodically clear out each chunk<ref>This seems pretty obvious but I have not seen anyone even use the miners</ref>. Which was used to obtain the teams first riches and then secured a decent amount of resources.

Next step was to move and because the veins were apparently like how they are IRL,<ref>I still have no idea if this is true as when we went to Siberia I noticed no uptick in resources, adding on my source was Dr Beako who isn't the brightest of the bunch but it makes sense ig??? maybe, not too sure</ref> now due to that OSIR migrated north and settled in Siberia. They first cleared out an area and setup base. Over the next couple days they would secure key Slimefun machinery and make the largest farms on the server. Allowing OSIR members to steal a lot of the places in the top skills leaderboard.

=== Intermission ===
Now OSIR at heart are GT players so a lot of the members quit except for a few, Lrdmtns still remaining one of the main grinders. And in this period the main things that were achieved was an expansion to the top area of the base, and Lrdmtns reaching the Top ten in Skills on the server.

Another thing is that Beako was seemingly quite fond of the Leader of OSIR at the time<ref>Yeah they like hate me now lol, not too sure why tho</ref>, and as they must have a fetish atp for being lied to and deceived, they entrusted our special little brit to resolve an internal conflict they had. And said conflict was ANOTHER coup attempt done on them. Which was attempted to be resolved by Lrdmtns and [[Snow165]], and it seemingly resolved itself overnight<ref>nothing ever happens</ref>. So massive waste of time on OSIRs side.

Now all the while a war was brewing against Britain and Germany, OSIR saw this as a perfect opportunity to enact their main goal. Now everyone thought this would be a stomp, due to the fact that the leader of Britain was highly autistic and erratic<ref>Almost like someone we know... makes you think</ref>, so no one took them seriously. Until OSIR decided to back them.

=== Final days of Nova Initia ===

== Komaru in Space ==
Komaru in space was an event hosted by the Star Technology Discord. And featured some of the best GT:Modern players most notably [[KillLaAqua]] and his team [[Church of Wetware]]. The other major team was one named [[Greglorius]] lead by [[Lemons681]] and had members such as [[Trulyno]]<ref>Who is the creator and owner of Star Technology fyi</ref>

So everyone expected this to be a clash between Greglorius and The Church of Wetware, until OSIR joined the fray.
=== Prelude ===
For OSIR the event started when an ex member told them about KiS, and was able to provide info on the teams that were there. But they were notorious in OSIR for being useless<ref>Thus I'm not going to mention them by name</ref>, so Lrdmtns initially wanted to exclude them from the newly formed OSIR but they managed to convince a less informed OSIR admin to let them in due to them being with them in prior events.

This was understandably quite annoying but they still managed to get into the event even with the application system. Now they had to strategize for the event and scout out their competition, and on day one joined KiS vc with [[Lemons681]] and [[Julian168]]. They managed to, even on different teams get along quite well<ref>foreshadowing</ref> but for the time being it was best to not declare themselves for the team they actually were.

One of the main things was during the first half of the prelude Lrdmtns made sure that no one was aware of their capabilities so they could fly under the radar, which worked quite well. Now from here and due to the fact no one knew who they were they managed to get a spy in every single team in the event, some even in leadership positions. Which gave them a huge <b>edge</b> over their competition, allowing them to fly even further under the radar. This was until Lrdmtns was asked how his team was going in chat to respond with "Not as well as I thought we lack serious manpower", and Lemons from their prior chat remembered Lrdmtns and his group for being highly qualified at the game and probably the best GT players in that event.

So Lemons talked to Lrdmtns in Dms and the entire time they kept the façade of being a weak small team that was unable to compete in this event. Little did Lemons know that while he was relaying all of this to Greglorius admin chat [[10StarScylla]] the spy in Greglorius was in vc with Lrdmtns allowing him to have a form of foresight on what Lemons would say. As the negotiations ended Lemons made a discord so they could collab in future, and after vcing for 30 ish minutes Lrdmtns decided with [[10StarScylla]] that they were pretty cool, and that they should reveal the spies. And after revealing this Lemons was like "oh lmao yeah thats cool" and then the two teams played Gartic phone for the next hour. And later both were invited to OSIR Guest- chat.
=== The leak ===
Now during all of this [[Chudcel]] was talking to Lemons and Julian and as the last place was open they got Chud into the event. Now as Lrdmtns and Chud have a (((Love Hate Relationship))) Chud thought it would be funny to leak the OSIR member list and all their spies blowing Lrdmtns' cover and sending it all to the leader of the Church of Wetware [[KillLaAqua]]. Now his original plan was to buddy up with Aqua and take down Lrdmtns using inside knowledge, but Aqua immediately blew it sending all of it to Greglorius and thus Lrdmtns got word within minutes of this occurring.

They both just laughed off the entire thing but Aqua was fuming, in his eyes Lrdmtns has basically ruined the event by putting spies in every team and to mention, Aqua is uncontested when it comes to Star Technology but, he possesses and ego and pride problem. So when the spies were put in his team he was livid.

Now [[Jumbo]] was the spy in Wetware and used the excuse that "Lrdmtns is mentally inept and I would rather join you" which Aqua sort off bought until Chud doubled down on this and showed that himself, Lrdmtns and Jumbo were all in vc. This was the final straw for Aqua so he decided to attempt to get them banned or create an alliance with Greglorius to take down OSIR, not knowing that by this point Greglorius was already an OSIR puppet.

And all the while Lrdmtns and Jumbo thought the chaos was hilarious and decided to leak the invite to Church of Wetwares private discord, as Lrdmtns said in KiS chat that "If this reaches 10 reactions I'll leak the invite to Wetware no balls", so he did just that. After this shit hit the fan and Trulyno banned the 3 people involved.

After this Lrdmtns was added to a GC with Aqua to resolve things, but he was rather unwilling to resolve things, delaying the negotiations intentionally to just get them banned. Lrdmtns asked [[Corydora165]] to use his sigma rizz to rizz up Aqua's juicy gyatt, and convince him to calm down. Seeing that Cory had cleared the way, Lrd then joined Star technology's VC to talk to Aqua 1 on 1. This went very well.

Once MTNS joined, the group talked over everything. Despite some misgivings, they managed to get everyone unbanned with the exception of Chud. But as Lrdmtns also suffers from crippling ego and pride problems, he made sure to give Aqua a 10 minute lecture about how he was immature which definitely poisoned the well for future collaboration, and all the while all of the OSIR members in the call blew up his dms telling him to stop.

Now by this point they were back in the event and soon the event would start.

=== Day -1 ===
Finally KiS was going to start and instantly there were problems, but OSIR was immediately the top team making a mob farm and securing ULV machines. But this was not flawless as a lot of the other players had a problem with Tough as Nails being in the pack and the fact it was a skyblock pack. But OSIR was undeterred finding a redstone vein that allowed them to skip having to use a mobfarm for mob drops and swiftly securing basic weapons and a base.

By this point many in the discord were up in arms talking about how the pack was "too difficult" and how a reset needed to be done to remove what made the event special. Many of whom didn't even play and simply voted a reset because they saw people complaining in chat. This included Wetware and the theory goes that they made their members vote for a reset to remove the edge that OSIR possessed.

Now knowing that they were screwed they decided to just raid wetware, for fun. As they knew that the server was likely to be reset and that there was not much purpose on continuing. So they got up collected what little they had and flew over to Wetware, and completely flattened them.

They found out as they were almost at LV, Wetware hadn't even stepped into ULV or steam, which gave the members a major motivation increase. And as they entered the main base they killed everyone with little to no resistance. This was until [[KillLaAqua]] declared that they had used exploits and gave himself resistance 255 and strength 255 to one shot all the OSIR members.

This wasn't received very well but regardless, Trulys word was final saying that it was in the past and not to linger on it.

Now after this the server closed to be brought back in a week until a hero [[Bebrik7788]] came out of the woodwork and talked about Belarusian cigarettes for so long he got the server locked down, but the server was to come back up a week later.

=== Actual start ===
The server started again to the same start essentially, OSIR being the furthest in progression and reaching MV first day. Which took Wetware multiple days to reach, cementing themselves as the most capable team on the server. And by day 3 they had found Wetware's base after a 2 day search, which ended up being found by a mixture of things.

First Wetware members had sent photos of cactuses, which was later found by Lrdmtns and Lemons, and one of their members logged on for the first time which then allowed Jumbo to follow them straight to their base. And then the next day they decided to go over and fuck around with Wetware members, going into their base and messing around as well as fighting their members. Ironically enough the same guy who they followed to the base tried to 1v2 both Lrdmtns and Jumbo, and revealed himself by jumping off a tree to crit Jumbo, to them be executed by Lrdmtns before he even hit the floor.

From here it remained about the same, with Lemons lavacasting their base stopping them from using their solar boilers and stopping them from progressing. Another thing is during the event Lrdmtns changed the team name multiple times, these include Operation paintbrush, Rhine Island and @personunnamed PLEASE unblock me. While the rest of the teams were struggling to get to LV OSIR was about to reach space, and even at this point Aqua said that he was impressed with how fast they had gone in the event, showing that there might be some goodwill between the two groups.

And in the final days OSIR reached EV and made sure to let people know.

=== Losers Bracket ===
After all of this KomaruCraft was announced, which according to people inside the event said that it was essentially KiS without OSIR, and everyone just formed one large team to progress. Another point of note is that it took them twice as long to get to where OSIR got, all the while all of MV-EV progression in OSIR was done by one person.

This has been coined within OSIR as the "Losers Bracket" event, and showing that the reforms and time spent between MCC and KiS paid off, as they were now undoubtedly the top team by this point.

== Yet another reform 🙄 ==
Due to new members being brought onto during KiS and the return of many old members due to KiS, more reforms were needed. Firstly an actual form of government would be made which still lasts to this day. This was largely done to prep the team for the upcoming Towny event. Where Lrdmtns was unable to lead and a more organized government was needed.

Another thing is that the Supervisor system was brought into play, allowing the team to have a role that designates someone of immense skill, who is on the cards for Director. And due to these reforms the team was far more organized and due to the stomp in KiS, their alliance with HF was taken far more seriously.

At the time of this reform the team had 28 Members which as of 03/03/25 it is still at.

== Project Towny 0.7 ==
There was no time to celebrate OSIRs victory in KiS as right after they were plunged into a new event that being Project Towny. This event was also the reunion of a lot of old teams such as Rog, GOE, PJ and Wog.

Now as this event was rather recent not much can be said without tampering with the SecOps that OSIR possesses at the moment. This was also declared by a lot of the veterans of OSIR that this was the worst event they had participated in.
=== Prelude ===
Now due to a multitude of factors primarily misinformation and Lrdmtns' own quite apathetic and coarse personality he was Prebanned from Towny. Adding on he wasn't even in the country for the first part of the event, as at the time he was on a ski trip, and would rather not spend his holiday playing "Project Towny".

This didn't stop the entire discord from accusing anyone they didn't know to be a Lrdmtns alt, most notably Lemons, CervicalCord and Julian were accused of being alts, and the first two were banned on suspicions of being the elusive Lrdmtns alt.

Adding on this was around New years and a lot of OSIR would rather play on the GTNH server they had, as well as spending time with their family.

ANOTHER problem regarding the team is that they are all without exception European, and Project Towny was for the first couple days down in European timezones and turned on at around 2-3 am in Europe, With no proper warning. So on-top of everything else they were very disinterested to play. That was until a certain member joined OSIR...

This is also added onto the fact that, as Lrdmtns couldn't play a new leader had to be declared. And that leader ended up being OSIR member [[Jumbo]]. This was due to the fact he was highly qualified in GT and a very close friend of Lrdmtns, being in his inner circle, so hopefully he could steer the team to victory.

A thing of note is that due to the sudden shift in leadership, many feared during towny OSIR would meet the same fate that HSS had. This was going to be rectified as with the Leader role, Lrdmtns gave [[Jumbo]] a large cabinet to advise on decisions. This all combined woutl hopefully ofset the risk of the team falling to infighting, as many did not want it to follow in the steps of its predecessors.

=== The Unnamed Vote ===
[[Person Unnamed]] and the leaders of OSIR share a very long history that cannot be summarised in a reasonable time span. But for reference they had been at odds for years up until this point.

This all started when Unnamed went to Project Towny chat to ask if any team would accept them, and OSIR Co leader [[10StarScylla]] said that he would pull some strings behind the scenes to get them in.

So at this point [[10StarScylla]] went to [[Lrdmtns]] and the at the time leader [[Jumbo]], saying that they should add Unnamed to the team. To then be told that the idea is retarded but funny so they would consider it. Later Lrdmtns and Unnamed had a talk<ref>Unnamed still had Lrd blocked at the time</ref> while Hubble acted as an arbiter for the duration of the talk.

By the end of it they agreed that they would tolerate each other as the idea is too funny not to capitalise on, and a vote was cast to OSIR Announcements. Now as I have made very clear during this article, OSIR members don't really like to "Think" or "Make good judgement" so a majority of them voted yes because they either, didn't read who they were adding, thought it was a joke, or voted yes because "they were going to lose anyways". They got added but right before there was some controversy from multiple people, some thought that Lrdmtns was going to cause a repeat of HSS and the group would collapse and that they would leak things, some hated unnamed as an individual, members from the HF Coalition saw it as a spit on the face from Lrdmtns that they were actively adding people who had bad blood with HF.

And OSIR member [[Super]] was concerned that the horrific image that groups such as Rog had made for OSIR, making it seem that it's just a continuation of the Far Right group that HSS was and that Super would lose their friendship with Unnamed and many others would lose friends.

This all was quite draining and after a consultation with the more levelheaded leaders and a talk with HF it was decided that they can join and redeem themselves to that side of the community as the hatchet must be buried at some point. And as oliwier put it "To me a vote is a vote, if they think you deserve a redemption then so will I".

After this lengthy addition to the team they managed to get along quite well with the other members, and this starts probably the first "Drama" associated with OSIR. As, as Lrdmtns saw them as a full member at this point, he gave over some details regarding Sailor leaking some of Unnamed's personal stuff so that people from HSS would laugh at them behind their back [https://greglore.miraheze.org/wiki/OSIR#Sailor_vs_Unnamed_&_OSIR].

However after Towny they did get kicked from OSIR due to a multitude of factors.

To then be readded recently, as Lrdmtns go particularly bored one day and realized that their kick was unjust, and that it would be more fun to have them around.

OSIR is very eccentric in their culture, usually having conflicting parts and other parts which are done for the pure purpose of causing chaos.

As OSIR is a direct descendant of the HSS the team is highly political, now as it's lead by Lrdmtns, who himself is a liberal it manages to maintain a 50/50 divide when it comes to left and right wingers present in the group. This greatly helps the team as unlike it's forebears, political arguments are discouraged so there are no bottled up feelings that end up boiling over and taking out the group as a whole.

Another thing, is that there is a very large belief when it comes to religion, or it's moral implications. Which again helps the team even more where there aren't constant debates about religion, like there was for HSS. As a majority of the people work under the same moral set.

== Ideology and Creation ==
Rhodes Island (RI for short) was created as a spiritual successor to the [[Cringe Union]]. It characterised itself as a neutral team that accepted just about anyone into it.

Led by [[Dr. Beako|Dr.Beako]] and [[Person Unnamed|PersonUnnamed]], it started gathering members for the SuSy event around a week before the actual minecraft server was opened to play on. The group was quickly formed, primarily thanks to the ease of joining the team. The recruitment process was rather simple, with most people being approved outright with very little questions asked.

The ideology of Rhodes Island, much like it's predecessor Cringe Union was to stay neutral towards everyone, having what Dr.Beako described as "John Wick mentality" and responding to threats with military action.

== Preparation for the event ==
During the pre-event time, the team has set up a training server, on which coordination between the members was practiced, as well as speed and general gamesense of everyone playing on it. The group managed to get to early LV during this practice run in the span of around 10 days of casual play.

Additionally, the idea of MARVIN was proposed by the head of R&D. Initially a meme, it was quickly discovered as a viable option for transport, as it was unlocked earlier than the elytra, it was (on average) faster than moving with a boat and land, and a single transport drone could support multiple people at once, provided that the system was supplied with enough of the desired resources (pigs).

The same system would later be utilized to extract [[Sailor]] from claimed spawn chunks, in which they were stuck in.

== The event itself ==
After the server opened properly, the members of RI grouped up in a designated location, and (after some confusion) set off in a massive boat convoy towards a nearby landmass. After some back and forth between the members on where to settle on, eventually [[Oliwier509]] would find a suitable spot. A desert right next to a river, a cobalt ore for opencomputers components, a federation outpost less than 300 blocks away, a desert pyramid temple and an orthomagmatic ore deposit to boot, overall one of the best places to base in during the event.

The base was originally intended to be in the beneath due to the vast amounts of anthracite found in it, but this idea was discarded as this area seemed more optimal for gaming. This was changed however, after the igblon log incident occurred, in which everyone's coordinates were leaked by the event organizer, truly a :fireinthehole: moment.

As such, the team was forced to move to a nearby island, it was far enough away for people that wanted to raid RI not to find it by accident, but close enough to still benefit from the natural resources of that land. The entire operation lasted a couple of hours, but in the end most of the base was moved over after a substantially large hole was prepared for it.

It was a few hours after the move that the team managed to create the necessary components for Marvin assembly, and the system was tested out at that time.

== The merges ==
During the event, RI has merged itself with multiple smaller teams looking for a place to stay, most notable of which being the NNZ, which has brought great talent into the team what will eventually save it from being wiped off the map. This however also destabilized the already struggling team, and many of the members from the merging teams would end up going their own way, joining other teams and sometimes even causing hostilities between themselves and RI.

== The problems ==
Due to the openness of inviting new members into the team, quite a substantial amount of spies have accumulated inside it, this lead to multiple counts of sabotage (such as the now infamous large bronze boiler explosion) and information leaking. Additionally due to the general lack of organisation, most members have been left without a task, which prompted them to leak even more information by releasing recordings of the base to the public, this resulted in the team being found and eventually raided by the GGI.

The GGI raid was partially caused by the team leaders assisting Sailor in a raid against them, but what actually was the final nail in the coffin, was failing to properly screen for people invited into the team, which led to [[SuperObama]] being not only invited into the team, but also shown around the base and shown the security system by the oblivious members.

What followed the raid on GGI was a relentless assault of suicide bombers on the RI base. [[WanderingHero]] has managed to sneak into the base, by changing his in-game name to Dr.Baeko, which managed to successfully fool the members of RI into lowering their guard just long enough to bomb every machine he could get his hands on. He was stopped in his tracks, but it would weaken the team and the base significantly.

== The Rising from the Ashes ==
After the team learnt of the raid by GGI, Oliwier509 has taken the executive decision to pack up the entire base, this was possible thanks to the absolute gigachad known as [[Illuminati_HD]], who thanks to his previous experience in the minecraft pro building scene, knew about the existence of little tiles storage blocks, and managed to create 7 containers large enough to fit the entire base into.

Once the raid begun, he instantly logged out, keeping the entire base safe with him, the remaining soldiers stayed behind to defend the base, but it was hopeless, as RI found themselves outnumbered and quickly overrun. Despite this, the team managed to meet up in a fake hill created around the ore deposit a few hours after the raid, and Illuminati_HD was able to safely log on. What followed was the biggest escort mission in gregtech gaming history, with the entire hive of RI members guarding our entire GDP.

At the same time, Oliwier509 has come into contact with [[Zalgo|Zalgo239]], who agreed to provide RI with coordinates near the PGS base as a last ditch effort to keep the team and the base safe. The team took until the server closing that day to complete the move, and have safely arrived at the agreed upon location mostly without incident.

== The downfall ==
After setting up the third and final base for the event, things appeared to be going smoothly, until one of the teams members decided to stage a mutiny. [[Rainboo]], who originally was a member of NNZ, has had enough of RI leaders, and decided to go on a rampage, killing everyone on sight. Despite his best efforts however, he was killed by PersonUnnamed during his escape from the base, and was later boxed in basalt by Oliwier509, who was camping his spawnpoint. (note that attempts to free Rainboo were made by ggi members, but they ended up killing themselves with their own explosives which is funny af. Their corpses have been discovered by the entrance to the new base)

As retaliation for being captured, Rainboo has decided to publicly leak the new bases coordinates, once again exposing not only the team but both the [[Peoples' Gregic Society|PGS]] and [[Republic of Newer Horizons|RONH]] (who have also based nearby) to attack.

Despite the fact that Rainboo killed many of RI members that day, most actually agreed with their takes on the current leaders, and would have probably helped him overthrow them had they known in advance he was planning something like this. This was later displayed, as Oliwier509 committing a coup d'état against PersonUnamed and Dr.Beako.

This saw most of the team joining Oliwier509 under a new name and banner of [[Humanity First]], with only a few individual choosing to stay with [[Penguin Logistics]] (PL) and some choosing to abandon everything all-together and go on their own way.

== The tragic end ==
After the split the newly formed factions immediately declared war on each other, said war has officially lasted for almost irl 2 years, and has resulted in much discord drama, much in-game drama and '''[my CRED supervisor will murder me if I tell you this]'''

== Epilogue ==
At the very end of the event, Oliwier509 would log into the game one last time, seeing the now rebranded HF base, somewhat destroyed by PL raiders, yet still somewhat standing, filled him with artistic inspiration strong enough to write a poem on the wall of his empty room, alongside blood trails made with redstone dust (as befits a retired mapmaker) leading all the way to a central area, which stored a 3D printed block of bedrock in a glass cage.

The contents of this poem, and the chest in which he buried lore-relevant objects are now considered lost media, due to igblon never getting around to editing the SuSy event videos.

OSIR is an [[Anglopediacracy]], as the team is under the leadership of [[Lrdmtns]] and is a spiritual successor to the [[High Speed Steel Private Military Corporation (HSS PMC)|HSS-PMC]] and [[Peoples' Gregic Society|PGS]]. As Lrdmtns was an active member of both teams and felt that both were under bad/inactive leadership so taking qualities from both OSIR was formed. There was also the factor that the KGKD/Q Nation was filled with unskilled labour, and that had halted them in previous events, so OSIR was meant to rectify this hiring based on GT Skill<ref>This was the case at the start but it became a friendgroup at a certain point so hiring is not completely based on this</ref>.

The team is also a direct descendant of the HSH Coalition from the [[Warfactory Event]] forming around half the memberlist, This was done as both [[Oliwier509]] and Lrdmtns recognized that there was potential in their continued collaboration<ref>This was also due to the fact that while they were all in one team it became hard to manage</ref>. The other half comes from various events and GT playthroughs. These factors make the memberlist of OSIR very capable, as a majority of the people there have finished a major GT pack.

The team is known for a very eccentric battle strategy, mainly coming down to whatever is the funniest option at that specific moment, as the 3 founding members<ref>[[Lrdmtns]], [[10StarScylla]] and [[Jumbo]]</ref> are all extremely special. This is shown in the first military engagements in MCC among other things.

== Event History ==
This is a brief list of the events that OSIR has participated in.
=== Warfactory 1 ===
Warfactory was an event run by the leader of the [[High Speed Steel Private Military Corporation (HSS PMC)|HSS-PMC]] [[Chudcel]], and this was the first event they were "officially" participating in, and [[Lrdmtns]] was made leader for this event so there was a lot on the line, as well as this event was expected to just be HSS Vs WOG, which by the creation of OSIR was clearly untrue.
==== The Fall of the HSS ====
To put things basically HSS fell due to months of spite they built against each other, due to the argument culture that was prevalent in HSS. This came to ahead when new members were sick of the way [[Chudcel]] was acting during the event, and decided that they were just unnecessarily mean. All the while long time HSS members saw it as an opportunity to come out on top and claim leadership over Lrdmtns<ref>Another point of contention was there seemed to be an envy over Lrdmtns getting a leadership position, as some other members wanted it. To make the situation even worse he demoted some of those members</ref>.

This eventually culminated in it splitting into 2 sides, what is now OSIR lead by Lrdmtns and what is now HSS lead by [[Chudcel]]. While Lrdmtns was unsure on what to do, the true HSS side attempted to ally with HF but it fell through, as they were trying to capitalize on a peace talk months prior that Lrdmtns had made with Oliwier, and even that one fell through because Lrdmtns didn't have access to the internet at the time. All the while when this was happening Lrdmtns had no idea what to do until [[Trainvoi]] came in and tried to capitalize on the excess of extremely skilled players without a home.
==== Q Nation merge ====
Right before Lrdmtns got off for the day Trainvoi reached out and they vced very briefly and discussed peace terms and eventually reached a conclusion that the next day they would meet up at Q Nations base. When the server came up what remained of HSS set off for Q Nation while trying to escape the people trying to ransack HSS for the highly valuable machines. When they arrived it wasn't all that bad admittedly their powergen was lacking only consisting of 3 solar boilers but they made sure to buffer the steam and had a basic machine line.

As Lrdmtns was quite demotivated at the time due to the revealing of Samanthy there was not much activity on his end for the first bit of day 2. However once [[Wiezba]] secured a EBF from the ruins of HSS and the advent of the pyrolyse oven made it so they might be able to catch up to WOG.

==== Q Nation prosperity ====
After the realization that WOG was not far behind they they began the rush finishing kanthal coils, all the needed mv machines to get to hv, polyethylene and clayline all in the remainder of the day which put them inches from WOG. Now there where some conflicts especially between Lrdmtns and Trainvoi, regarding their powergen. Trainvoi opted for an LBB and Lrdmtns wanted to use an oil distillation setup.

This sparked a pretty long argument which disorganized the base but at a certain point it was organized again and they proceeded to start work towards autocrafting and other necessities.
==== Negotiations with HF ====
This was all put to a close as when WOG attacked on day 3 Lrdmtns knew to go to HF for help and this sparked a long peacetalk between HF and Q Nation. The main thing was that HF was lagging behind in progression but would want OSIR/Q Nation to help with progression and take the little they had and bring it to HF. The main things were a HV machine line and an entire cleanroom and the stuff required for a vacuum freezer.

They eventually reached the conclusion that they would base together and decide if this was the right course of action.

=== MCC ===
<b>M</b>inecraft <b>C</b>entralized <b>C</b>ivilizations, was an event done days after Warfactory 1. It was known from the start that this event would practically just be OSIR v Wog, and Lrdmtns only participated to make sure Wog wouldn't win another event. Adding on [[Jumbo]] to this day credits it as his favourite event. This was also the first event that OSIR properly played in. Adding on in the days following it Lrdmtns and Jumbo made the discord server for OSIR which was what formally created the team.
==== Prelude ====
During the downtime between WF1 and MCC, Lrdmtns and [[10StarScylla]] had gotten quite close by playing Wynncraft together daily. And at the end of WF1 Lrdmtns promised to [[10StarScylla]], that if he ever needed a team for an event to hit him up.

Once they were sure they would participate in this they happened to be in vc with [[Person Unnamed]]. As at the time they were still friends and they were playing Genshin together daily. Now as MCC consisted of a lot of people new to events as a whole, Lrdmtns saw an opportunity to troll a bit.

This culminated in him telling Unnamed to join Tungstenmans team, and using the spies they already had to hype Unnamed up until they got leader. This worked quite well and this is where the "32 PBFS" joke stemmed from, as Unnamed advised Tungstenman to make 32 of them for early steel production among other useless things. Hubble was also spying btw.

All of this was happening while Lrdmtns and [[10StarScylla]] were planning for the event. They made a large google doc for prep that detailed all the pre HV progression which was deemed ample enough for prep.

And finally they needed people, so they revived Q Nation<ref>Which is the most fire name ever btw</ref>. After this Lrdmtns brought on some of his friends such as [[Tachyon_Speed]]. Some HF people also joined such as the relatively unknown at the time [[Jumbo | Eierloch]] <ref>You're starting to see how this event formed OSIR as prior to this Lrdmtns unironically thought Jumbo was a Latinx 12 year old</ref>.

Another thing is that Lrdmtns and 10StarScylla are allergic to taking themselves seriously, and named this team KGKD which stood for "Karagümrük truck drivers society".

==== First couple hours ====
In the first few hours of MCC, Lrdmtns was busy studying chem and bio, [[10StarScylla]] was gooning or some shit idfk and the rest where doing ????. The main people online were Santa, Jumbo and Tachyon. This then caused OSIR to start considerably later than the rest of the server, thus causing Wog to secure an LV circuit hours before them.

This meant nothing in the face of the KGKD however, as once they got on they proceeded to secure an assembling machine in the first hour of them playing. Later securing an EBF in the second hour and making basic preparations for the MV age. As detailed in the doc they were to secure an oil distillation setup for power, and by the end of the day they were making very good progress towards securing an integrated circuit.
==== A war on 2 fronts ====
At this point we are at the start of day 2 and the KGKD was on its way to securing HV. And as the doc detailed they were to make a quad Ebf running on 16A MV with full Kanthal coils, which helped them create massive amounts of HV alloys. This then allowed them to create the ME System and enough guns to fuel an army. Which is what they then did.

Now as again the leaders of OSIR are quite eccentric, and don't like to do anything if it isn't funny or required. And with this in mind Lrdmtns and [[10StarScylla]] decided that the funniest thing they can do was to attack every team... at the same exact time<ref>This was done by Lrdmtns to "Assert dominance" o algo</ref>.

Now this excluded Wog as they did not know their coords at the time, but they knew the coords of TII and some other team lead by Svadmp forgot the name. Their plan was to send two groups, one to TII lead by [[Mapper31]] and another group to Svadmps team lead by Lrdmtns. Now as both teams were unsure on how to properly go about playing an event it was pretty clear OSIR would win, given that the other sides literally did not have any weapons.<ref>If I remember correctly TII had a "Mares leg" which is a meme item left in the pack as sort off noob trap as it practically does no damage</ref>

The assault on Svadmps base went as you can guessed, pretty well for OSIR as they literally did not have a door<ref>Which was a staple of this campaign</ref> so they just entered through the exposed base and besieged their citadel. And all the while [[Mapper31]] was on his way to TII.

And again the raid on TII also went as expected as they just went through the hole that lead directly to their core, as again both teams were unaware of what "doors" are.

==== The move ====
After the raid they all came back to base and decided that a move was in order. And Lrdmtns was camping so [[Jumbo]] got control of OSIR to move to the new location. Now as they had an ME system they were able to do this easily and the move was performed, after this they worked on making a Sulfuric line and an Oxygen line.

This then prepped them to start work on PE which was done through Biomass<ref>Personally I think that a Naphtha setup for PE is more time efficient as you should be using Oil for power anyways but it <i>is</i> faster</ref>. Also they added [[Fedsmoker88]] to the team because Lrdmtns thought his name was funny.
==== Prosperity ====
Now they actually had a proper base, this is when the KGKD really started to take off. Also from here on out the main players in the base were Lrdmtns and [[Jumbo]] as the rest were busy with IRL stuff or were too incompetent to really contribute.

So from here while all other teams where stuck in early MV or late LV, KGKD was far ahead and on the path to EV. This got stopped when [[Trainvoi]] took the task for making Titaline, and took an entire day to make it as, "someone else can make the machines". And after an entire day he made a titanium line that didn't work causing Lrdmtns to have to fix it, and it took him so long he was able to prep for the rest of EV progression and reached IV in an hour after Trainvoi "finished" titaline.

Now as whoever made the recipes for guns in Warfactory is, for lack of a better word retarded, you needed ruthenium to make the RTM coils, required for some of the materials for "EV guns". Which if they got would practically make them unstoppable<ref>well thats if your enemies can literally be killed but ig I just suck</ref> as, in particular the VSS Vintorez had insane accuracy and a full auto mode. But with all the stuff added together it was practically a mid IV gun.

So Lrdmtns worked on handcrafting the platline far enough he could get the ruthenium required for the coils to cook HSS-G. [[10StarScylla]] worked on making the polyvinyl butyral for the magazines. And eventually they were obtained.

All the while Lrdmtns was revamping the Powergen and made 20 distilleries for scaling light fuel<ref>I was bad at gt at the time but for some reason our base shit itself when I turned it to diesel, no clue to this day why</ref>.

==== Prelude to the Siege ====
With VSS Dragunovs in hand a couple helicopters and full ardite armor for everyone in the base, they decided that they would take on the entire server at once. This started with finding Wogs base and following tungstenman back to by baiting him out using "Charity". So they went over to raid Wog but due to an achievement triggering they picked up all their shit and dipped. And they did follow tungstenman for a while and posted a video fucking with him, which revealed Lrdmtns' waypoints causing [[Ndld24]] to find their base and leak the coords.

Now at this point they had essentially an entire continent claimed, and the weapons to fight every other team all at once. And with all the aforementioned stuff Wog was out to get them the next day. All the while they were building a palace on top of their base to assert dominance. Which was done as a meme but greatly helped in the later conflict.
==== Siege of the KGKD ====
The Siege of the KGKD was a 4+ hour besiegement of the KGKD, and was probably the most fun raid I've ever been in. Now prior to this the event organiser said to Wog and Tungstenman that they should merge to take down the KGKD, which didn't end up going through in actuality, but is interesting to think about.

The KGKD was far ahead of where Wog were at and both had similar active workers showing the KGKD's technological expertise, but Wog possessed far better raid planning, so even with the technological advantage the fight was about equal. And both teams were at their full power so the outcome of this would decide on which team was truly the "best".

Wog started off by all at once summoning all their members to the server, alerting all the KGKD members that a raid was incoming. Then they proceeded to make a claim right outside of KGKD's claims, which served two purposes, one to provide a place that all the members could /f home to to get to the soon to be battleground, as they were all spread out across the map, two was to act as a stronghold so if the line was pushed back to the claim they could defend and hopefully push it back<ref>This is foreshadowing btw</ref>.

The next move Wog took was to send out a tank and a helicopter to hopefully take out OSIR right then and there, and they managed to take out a few people using the tank. But due to the KGKD palace acting as a barrier to shellfire they were largely okay. But the main problem was in Wogs helicopter that was sending missiles into the side of the palace, if they were able to take out that helicopter the tides would greatly lean in the KGKD's favour.

So their first priority was to take it out which was done relatively fast with the use of KGKD's own heli and people on the ground shooting it down. This then allowed the KGKD to possess air superiority for the rest of the siege, and with the air superiority the tank was swiftly taken out and the rest of the KGKD members pushed back Wog killing a couple along the way and taking their gear. And then they pushed back to the Wog claim that then allowed them to try to push into the main structure, but then Wog member [[Simeon]] used a Phalanx to take out 6 KGKD members at once and that time window allowed Wog to push back and secure a second stronghold on top of a hill.

First priority was to push back Wog again and take out the members in the second stronghold, so [[Mapper31]] lead a taskforce to the top of the hill alongside [[Santacruzinnit]] and [[Tachyon_Speed]] that took out the Wog members and gave time for [[10StarScylla]], [[Corydora165]] and [[Lrdmtns]] to hatch a plan to truly change the tides.

They then uncovered the helicopters and while pushing back Wog to their first stronghold all the while [[10StarScylla]], [[Corydora165]] and [[Lrdmtns]] were using the helicopters to attempt to take back the stronghold.

From here Wog managed to push back the KGKD to their main base all the while using an armorset that allowed them to be unkillable that was an oversight from the Warfactory dev team, and by the nature of warforge claims at the time the battle practically ended in a stalemate. And soon enough the server closed to not be reopened again.

Regardless of the way it ended it still was immensely fun and sets a very high bar for the next "good" event WF2. It did start couple hours of dumb discord drama tho which was disheartening.<ref>Also in hindsight we should've made a different helicopters that could do claim damage but oh well.</ref>

====Conclusion====
MCC due to the existence of competition for Wog many strategies were created and tested in MCC, practically reinventing the wheel when it came to events. Now even though Wog and OSIR were far worse at GT then they currently are it still managed to be very competitive event.

This allowed many new strategies to emerge such as the use of temporary strongholds to act as an area where people can restock. As well as the KGKD showing that above ground bases may be a new meta for base building as it makes it easier to defend, this is compared to their predecessors which were just cobble gooncaves underground.

===Reform===
Now due to Lrdmtns' opinion on his and others play in MCC, believing that if they were to continue to win large changes were needed. First and foremost, making a centralized discord for OSIR, as prior to this point there wasn't one and it was more of a lose group of people that united when an event happened. This also consisted of Q Nation which had severe skill problems in some areas and major organization problems.

So Lrdmtns discussed with Jumbo and 10Star that if they were to continue they would need to reorganize, so when Lrdmtns, Jumbo and [[TheDiamondT]] played Technological Journey together it was talked about how they would make a "Discord" for the run, which would become OSIR.

So after a couple days the move was done, only taking the best people at GT and cutting all the dead weight. From here OSIR only had 14 members, and some had left due to tensions they had with other members now that they were unified. This was disheartening, but workable.

In the intermission between MCC and KiS they had reached UHV on their TJ run and were far better than they were before at GT, and had grown to 24 members.

They also changed their recruitment policy as with the advent of Samanthy and Celphei it made it so alts were commonly used within the community, making it so a proper recruitment and screening was needed for each member, making it so the growth was slow, but manageable. But this made it far more secure further aiding the group. So from here all their members were very versed in GT and could easily hold their own in an event.

A far smaller server they played on. Nova initia was a Geopol server, which hosted some very infamous members of the Event community. Most notably Superobama and Dr.Beako. This server was mainly played by OSIR as a way to procrastinate off of playing TJ, and no MVPs or Members were taken on from Nova Initia.

==== Prelude ====
The server was shown to Lrdmtns and 10StarScylla by Superobama, and initially they were hesitant to join until Lrdmtns and Jumbo were waiting for circuit boards on TJ, and decided to play.

Now they had one goal in mind coming in, to defeat the North German Confederation. This was due to the fact that OSIR at the time consisted mainly of Germans, and not only that they were German nationalists. And after finding out Germany was lead by an israelite they decided to reclaim it in the name of Germania.

Lrdmtns went along with this cuz funny.

==== Start ====
They decided to name their faction on the server "Hyperborea" as they ran out of ideas or smth. They then setup base in Africa as Lrdmtns knew that ancient debris only spawned in specific sections of South Africa, while Jumbo mined and setup base Lrdmtns upgraded his fishing skill<ref>Fishing once levelled is a super good source of XP, as to research Slimefun you need a lot of XP</ref> and got some miners from the mod "Slimefun". He realised that using the miners you could setup multiple miners at once and methodically clear out each chunk<ref>This seems pretty obvious but I have not seen anyone even use the miners</ref>. Which was used to obtain the teams first riches and then secured a decent amount of resources.

Next step was to move and because the veins were apparently like how they are IRL,<ref>I still have no idea if this is true as when we went to Siberia I noticed no uptick in resources, adding on my source was Dr Beako who isn't the brightest of the bunch but it makes sense ig??? maybe, not too sure</ref> now due to that OSIR migrated north and settled in Siberia. They first cleared out an area and setup base. Over the next couple days they would secure key Slimefun machinery and make the largest farms on the server. Allowing OSIR members to steal a lot of the places in the top skills leaderboard.

==== Intermission ====
Now OSIR at heart are GT players so a lot of the members quit except for a few, Lrdmtns still remaining one of the main grinders. And in this period the main things that were achieved was an expansion to the top area of the base, and Lrdmtns reaching the Top ten in Skills on the server.

Another thing is that Beako was seemingly quite fond of the Leader of OSIR at the time<ref>Yeah they like hate me now lol, not too sure why tho</ref>, and as they must have a fetish atp for being lied to and deceived, they entrusted our special little brit to resolve an internal conflict they had. And said conflict was ANOTHER coup attempt done on them. Which was attempted to be resolved by Lrdmtns and [[Snow165]], and it seemingly resolved itself overnight<ref>nothing ever happens</ref>. So massive waste of time on OSIRs side.

Now all the while a war was brewing against Britain and Germany, OSIR saw this as a perfect opportunity to enact their main goal. Now everyone thought this would be a stomp, due to the fact that the leader of Britain was highly autistic and erratic<ref>Almost like someone we know... makes you think</ref>, so no one took them seriously. Until OSIR decided to back them.

==== Final days of Nova Initia ====

=== Komaru in Space ===
Komaru in space was an event hosted by the Star Technology Discord. And featured some of the best GT:Modern players most notably [[KillLaAqua]] and his team [[Church of Wetware]]. The other major team was one named [[Greglorius]] lead by [[Lemons681]] and had members such as [[Trulyno]]<ref>Who is the creator and owner of Star Technology fyi</ref>

So everyone expected this to be a clash between Greglorius and The Church of Wetware, until OSIR joined the fray.
==== Prelude ====
For OSIR the event started when an ex member told them about KiS, and was able to provide info on the teams that were there. But they were notorious in OSIR for being useless<ref>Thus I'm not going to mention them by name</ref>, so Lrdmtns initially wanted to exclude them from the newly formed OSIR but they managed to convince a less informed OSIR admin to let them in due to them being with them in prior events.

This was understandably quite annoying but they still managed to get into the event even with the application system. Now they had to strategize for the event and scout out their competition, and on day one joined KiS vc with [[Lemons681]] and [[Julian168]]. They managed to, even on different teams get along quite well<ref>foreshadowing</ref> but for the time being it was best to not declare themselves for the team they actually were.

One of the main things was during the first half of the prelude Lrdmtns made sure that no one was aware of their capabilities so they could fly under the radar, which worked quite well. Now from here and due to the fact no one knew who they were they managed to get a spy in every single team in the event, some even in leadership positions. Which gave them a huge <b>edge</b> over their competition, allowing them to fly even further under the radar. This was until Lrdmtns was asked how his team was going in chat to respond with "Not as well as I thought we lack serious manpower", and Lemons from their prior chat remembered Lrdmtns and his group for being highly qualified at the game and probably the best GT players in that event.

So Lemons talked to Lrdmtns in Dms and the entire time they kept the façade of being a weak small team that was unable to compete in this event. Little did Lemons know that while he was relaying all of this to Greglorius admin chat [[10StarScylla]] the spy in Greglorius was in vc with Lrdmtns allowing him to have a form of foresight on what Lemons would say. As the negotiations ended Lemons made a discord so they could collab in future, and after vcing for 30 ish minutes Lrdmtns decided with [[10StarScylla]] that they were pretty cool, and that they should reveal the spies. And after revealing this Lemons was like "oh lmao yeah thats cool" and then the two teams played Gartic phone for the next hour. And later both were invited to OSIR Guest- chat.
==== The leak ====
Now during all of this [[Chudcel]] was talking to Lemons and Julian and as the last place was open they got Chud into the event. Now as Lrdmtns and Chud have a (((Love Hate Relationship))) Chud thought it would be funny to leak the OSIR member list and all their spies blowing Lrdmtns' cover and sending it all to the leader of the Church of Wetware [[KillLaAqua]]. Now his original plan was to buddy up with Aqua and take down Lrdmtns using inside knowledge, but Aqua immediately blew it sending all of it to Greglorius and thus Lrdmtns got word within minutes of this occurring.

They both just laughed off the entire thing but Aqua was fuming, in his eyes Lrdmtns has basically ruined the event by putting spies in every team and to mention, Aqua is uncontested when it comes to Star Technology but, he possesses and ego and pride problem. So when the spies were put in his team he was livid.

Now [[Jumbo]] was the spy in Wetware and used the excuse that "Lrdmtns is mentally inept and I would rather join you" which Aqua sort off bought until Chud doubled down on this and showed that himself, Lrdmtns and Jumbo were all in vc. This was the final straw for Aqua so he decided to attempt to get them banned or create an alliance with Greglorius to take down OSIR, not knowing that by this point Greglorius was already an OSIR puppet.

And all the while Lrdmtns and Jumbo thought the chaos was hilarious and decided to leak the invite to Church of Wetwares private discord, as Lrdmtns said in KiS chat that "If this reaches 10 reactions I'll leak the invite to Wetware no balls", so he did just that. After this shit hit the fan and Trulyno banned the 3 people involved.

After this Lrdmtns was added to a GC with Aqua to resolve things, but he was rather unwilling to resolve things, delaying the negotiations intentionally to just get them banned. Lrdmtns asked [[Corydora165]] to use his sigma rizz to rizz up Aqua's juicy gyatt, and convince him to calm down. Seeing that Cory had cleared the way, Lrd then joined Star technology's VC to talk to Aqua 1 on 1. This went very well.

Once MTNS joined, the group talked over everything. Despite some misgivings, they managed to get everyone unbanned with the exception of Chud. But as Lrdmtns also suffers from crippling ego and pride problems, he made sure to give Aqua a 10 minute lecture about how he was immature which definitely poisoned the well for future collaboration, and all the while all of the OSIR members in the call blew up his dms telling him to stop.

Now by this point they were back in the event and soon the event would start.

==== Day -1 ====
Finally KiS was going to start and instantly there were problems, but OSIR was immediately the top team making a mob farm and securing ULV machines. But this was not flawless as a lot of the other players had a problem with Tough as Nails being in the pack and the fact it was a skyblock pack. But OSIR was undeterred finding a redstone vein that allowed them to skip having to use a mobfarm for mob drops and swiftly securing basic weapons and a base.

By this point many in the discord were up in arms talking about how the pack was "too difficult" and how a reset needed to be done to remove what made the event special. Many of whom didn't even play and simply voted a reset because they saw people complaining in chat. This included Wetware and the theory goes that they made their members vote for a reset to remove the edge that OSIR possessed.

Now knowing that they were screwed they decided to just raid wetware, for fun. As they knew that the server was likely to be reset and that there was not much purpose on continuing. So they got up collected what little they had and flew over to Wetware, and completely flattened them.

They found out as they were almost at LV, Wetware hadn't even stepped into ULV or steam, which gave the members a major motivation increase. And as they entered the main base they killed everyone with little to no resistance. This was until [[KillLaAqua]] declared that they had used exploits and gave himself resistance 255 and strength 255 to one shot all the OSIR members.

This wasn't received very well but regardless, Trulys word was final saying that it was in the past and not to linger on it.

Now after this the server closed to be brought back in a week until a hero [[Bebrik7788]] came out of the woodwork and talked about Belarusian cigarettes for so long he got the server locked down, but the server was to come back up a week later.

==== Actual start ====
The server started again to the same start essentially, OSIR being the furthest in progression and reaching MV first day. Which took Wetware multiple days to reach, cementing themselves as the most capable team on the server. And by day 3 they had found Wetware's base after a 2 day search, which ended up being found by a mixture of things.

First Wetware members had sent photos of cactuses, which was later found by Lrdmtns and Lemons, and one of their members logged on for the first time which then allowed Jumbo to follow them straight to their base. And then the next day they decided to go over and fuck around with Wetware members, going into their base and messing around as well as fighting their members. Ironically enough the same guy who they followed to the base tried to 1v2 both Lrdmtns and Jumbo, and revealed himself by jumping off a tree to crit Jumbo, to them be executed by Lrdmtns before he even hit the floor.

From here it remained about the same, with Lemons lavacasting their base stopping them from using their solar boilers and stopping them from progressing. Another thing is during the event Lrdmtns changed the team name multiple times, these include Operation paintbrush, Rhine Island and @personunnamed PLEASE unblock me. While the rest of the teams were struggling to get to LV OSIR was about to reach space, and even at this point Aqua said that he was impressed with how fast they had gone in the event, showing that there might be some goodwill between the two groups.

And in the final days OSIR reached EV and made sure to let people know.

==== Losers Bracket ====
After all of this KomaruCraft was announced, which according to people inside the event said that it was essentially KiS without OSIR, and everyone just formed one large team to progress. Another point of note is that it took them twice as long to get to where OSIR got, all the while all of MV-EV progression in OSIR was done by one person.

This has been coined within OSIR as the "Losers Bracket" event, and showing that the reforms and time spent between MCC and KiS paid off, as they were now undoubtedly the top team by this point.

=== Yet another reform 🙄 ===
Due to new members being brought onto during KiS and the return of many old members due to KiS, more reforms were needed. Firstly an actual form of government would be made which still lasts to this day. This was largely done to prep the team for the upcoming Towny event. Where Lrdmtns was unable to lead and a more organized government was needed.

Another thing is that the Supervisor system was brought into play, allowing the team to have a role that designates someone of immense skill, who is on the cards for Director. And due to these reforms the team was far more organized and due to the stomp in KiS, their alliance with HF was taken far more seriously.

At the time of this reform the team had 28 Members which as of 03/03/25 it is still at.

=== Project Towny 0.7 ===
There was no time to celebrate OSIRs victory in KiS as right after they were plunged into a new event that being Project Towny. This event was also the reunion of a lot of old teams such as Rog, GOE, PJ and Wog.

Now as this event was rather recent not much can be said without tampering with the SecOps that OSIR possesses at the moment. This was also declared by a lot of the veterans of OSIR that this was the worst event they had participated in.
==== Prelude ====
Now due to a multitude of factors primarily misinformation and Lrdmtns' own quite apathetic and coarse personality he was Prebanned from Towny. Adding on he wasn't even in the country for the first part of the event, as at the time he was on a ski trip, and would rather not spend his holiday playing "Project Towny".

This didn't stop the entire discord from accusing anyone they didn't know to be a Lrdmtns alt, most notably Lemons, CervicalCord and Julian were accused of being alts, and the first two were banned on suspicions of being the elusive Lrdmtns alt.

Adding on this was around New years and a lot of OSIR would rather play on the GTNH server they had, as well as spending time with their family.

ANOTHER problem regarding the team is that they are all without exception European, and Project Towny was for the first couple days down in European timezones and turned on at around 2-3 am in Europe, With no proper warning. So on-top of everything else they were very disinterested to play. That was until a certain member joined OSIR...

This is also added onto the fact that, as Lrdmtns couldn't play a new leader had to be declared. And that leader ended up being OSIR member [[Jumbo]]. This was due to the fact he was highly qualified in GT and a very close friend of Lrdmtns, being in his inner circle, so hopefully he could steer the team to victory.

A thing of note is that due to the sudden shift in leadership, many feared during towny OSIR would meet the same fate that HSS had. This was going to be rectified as with the Leader role, Lrdmtns gave [[Jumbo]] a large cabinet to advise on decisions. This all combined woutl hopefully ofset the risk of the team falling to infighting, as many did not want it to follow in the steps of its predecessors.

==== The [[Person Unnamed|Unnamed]] Vote ====
[[Person Unnamed]] and the leaders of OSIR share a very long history that cannot be summarised in a reasonable time span. But for reference they had been at odds for years up until this point.

This all started when Unnamed went to Project Towny chat to ask if any team would accept them, and OSIR Co leader [[10StarScylla]] said that he would pull some strings behind the scenes to get them in.

So at this point [[10StarScylla]] went to [[Lrdmtns]] and the at the time leader [[Jumbo]], saying that they should add Unnamed to the team. To then be told that the idea is retarded but funny so they would consider it. Later Lrdmtns and Unnamed had a talk<ref>Unnamed still had Lrd blocked at the time</ref> while Hubble acted as an arbiter for the duration of the talk.

By the end of it they agreed that they would tolerate each other as the idea is too funny not to capitalise on, and a vote was cast to OSIR Announcements. Now as I have made very clear during this article, OSIR members don't really like to "Think" or "Make good judgement" so a majority of them voted yes because they either, didn't read who they were adding, thought it was a joke, or voted yes because "they were going to lose anyways". They got added but right before there was some controversy from multiple people, some thought that Lrdmtns was going to cause a repeat of HSS and the group would collapse and that they would leak things, some hated unnamed as an individual, members from the HF Coalition saw it as a spit on the face from Lrdmtns that they were actively adding people who had bad blood with HF.

And OSIR member [[Super]] was concerned that the horrific image that groups such as Rog had made for OSIR, making it seem that it's just a continuation of the Far Right group that HSS was and that Super would lose their friendship with Unnamed and many others would lose friends.

This all was quite draining and after a consultation with the more levelheaded leaders and a talk with HF it was decided that they can join and redeem themselves to that side of the community as the hatchet must be buried at some point. And as oliwier put it "To me a vote is a vote, if they think you deserve a redemption then so will I".

After this lengthy addition to the team they managed to get along quite well with the other members, and this starts probably the first "Drama" associated with OSIR. As, as Lrdmtns saw them as a full member at this point, he gave over some details regarding Sailor leaking some of Unnamed's personal stuff so that people from HSS would laugh at them behind their back [https://greglore.miraheze.org/wiki/OSIR#Sailor_vs_Unnamed_&_OSIR].

However after Towny they did get kicked from OSIR due to a multitude of factors.

To then be readded recently, as Lrdmtns go particularly bored one day and realized that their kick was unjust, and that it would be more fun to have them around.

OSIR is very eccentric in their culture, usually having conflicting parts and other parts which are done for the pure purpose of causing chaos.

=== Politics ===
As OSIR is a direct descendant of the HSS the team is highly political, now as it's lead by Lrdmtns, who himself is a liberal it manages to maintain a 50/50 divide when it comes to left and right wingers present in the group. This greatly helps the team as unlike it's forebears, political arguments are discouraged so there are no bottled up feelings that end up boiling over and taking out the group as a whole.

Another thing, is that there is a very large belief when it comes to religion, or it's moral implications. Which again helps the team even more where there aren't constant debates about religion, like there was for HSS. As a majority of the people work under the same moral set.

Introduced during the post MCC reforms, this was done to make the team more organised and prepped for future events.

The system has worked very well so far and have breathed new life into the team.

* [[Lemons681]]: Got his second placement after OSIR quit towny, as during the event he practically didn't sleep to grind, allowing them to stay on par with all the other teams. He also contributed massively to OSIR's culture during the event, contributing to many of the groups inside jokes and defined towny for the team.

* [[Trainvoi]]: Due to Lrdmtns' absence from the team Trainvoi acted as leader during towny, and even after OSIR formally quit he spent 3 weeks grinding day and night until he burnt out. In the eyes of the team he redeemed himself for his subpar performance during events such as MCC, And obtained the groups respect in spades.''

==== OSIRChan ====
OSIRChan, is proof that god does not exist. The idea came from one of Lrdmtns' history revision sessions, where he read up on a German political artwork that featured Lady Germania[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germania_(personification)]. And from this he got the idea that OSIR needed their own equivalent of this.

So thus "OSIRChan" was born a crude mockery of Gods image, and after some theory crafting done by [[Jumbo]], was decided it would be an Israelite trans anime girl. An image of "OSIRChan" does exist but it's likely too retarded to release to the free internet.
==== Sleep ====
OSIR is primarily composed of European players, with very few members from the Americas<ref>The only player they have that lives in the us, is [[Person Unnamed]]</ref>. Despite playing in a community that is often most active during American time zones, OSIR have remained competitive by maintaining very unhealthy sleep schedules. Rather than following a standard routine, many members stay online for extended periods during events, sometimes sacrificing sleep to maintain their performance.

While other teams also have players known for long hours such as Wog’s [[Calalex]], who once played for 24 hours straight during the Nexus event OSIR has gained a reputation for its dedicated grinders. Some of the most notable examples include:

[[Lrdmtns]] – Spent up to 16 hours a day playing GT in preparation for WF1, maintaining this routine for two months while also attending school.

[[Jumbo]] – Maintains a consistently high level of activity across multiple events, rarely missing key moments.

This level of commitment has allowed OSIR to remain competitive despite the challenges of time zone differences. Whether this is a strategic advantage or simply an unhealthy habit is up for debate.

Humanity First is a team that was born after the chemical element known as Rhodium had undergone fission and the previous leaders were ejected (amongus reference). This has led to the first ever time in recorded human history, where the team in question wasn't raided, betrayed, or otherwise inconvenienced by external factors for several days in a row, and this peace had remained until Penguin Logistics (Previously known as [[Rhodes Island]], now known as [[Rhine Labs]]) declared war on them.

During this time, a small portion of the R&D allocated funding has gone into the production of a small 5-minute video showcasing Marv-net at the early stages of development (more specifically showcasing clock linking of multiple drones and robots which was a core step in the creation of Marv-net). The entire thing was played off as a meme after '''[REDACTED]''' suggested using the robots to rotate the Extra Cells walrus to the beat of the famous song "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGNiXGX2nLU&ab_channel=DeadOrAliveVEVO You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)]" created by Dead or Alive.

The video of this showcase is still circulating in GregTech related discord servers and possibly other related social media apps.

HF's era of Mekanism may have ended and with it the name change was reverted, but the scars of it remain to this day, with may inside jokes and discord channels still being told of inside the team's inner circles.

About a month after the susy event has ended, the team decided to participate in a very small scale HBM based pvp event, during which, due to the small size of the world map and small server size, teaming was disallowed.

The rules of the event granted every new player a grace period of 3 days, however, these rules did not grant the server a grace period, and it was promptly killed by [[Oliwier509]] exploring the entire map in search of a cactus.

The true end of the event, came at dusk of day 2, a full 30 hours before pvp became real, because NemEzanevem (one of the server admins) has decided to spawn a black hole at spawn, which killed everyone currently online, and destroyed all dropped items, which caused a major loss of GDP to both [[Oliwier509]] and [[Person Unnamed]].

Due to this fact, the event ended prematurely, but Oliwier never stopped playing on the world, instead choosing to download it and add the scape and run parasites mod to the pack, as it was perfect for testing how effective each mod from that kitchen sink was against the parasite threat.

This operation continued for about a month, and upon it's end, all the collected data on the proficiency of each mod and weapon has been placed on a spreadsheet and can be found in '''[REDACTED]'''.

The team has managed to pull themselves together for participation in the first [[Warfactory Event]], though with severe losses in manpower, due to the vast majority of members no longer being members, being busy with life, or simply disagreeing with participation in an event that revolves around fighting other people.

Despite this, a few HF members managed to come together and officially involve themselves in the event.

==== Act 2.1: It's Norwoodover ====
After finding the DrBeako head at spawn in a twist of fate, the teams initial plan was to escape to the lost cities and base there, because despite the fact that the dimension did not allow for warforge claims to be placed down, it was a tradeoff HF was willing to make, due to the extra protection and stealth the dimension offered.

This plan was immediately intercepted by the fun police and HF was booted off the lost cities after they were deemed an "exploit" (to this day, no one knows why the mod was even kept in the pack and the first page of the quest book if it was against the rules to enter the lost cities). After this catastrophic failure that caused the entire infrastructure plan to collapse, HF decided to vent (amongus reference) their anger on [[Person Unnamed]], who's coordinates were found by the scouting regiment earlier that day. The battle lasted less than 10 minutes and the entire [[Rhine Labs]] base was romaniand, with the exception of the small claimed oil outpost nearby (said outpost was later fully destroyed by an unrelated third party)

==== Act 2.2: It's Norwoodover MK2 ====
This time, the teams' entire armaments supply was destroyed due to Norwood changing the config last minute, which disabled the use of ender chests. This action caused the team to lose 99% of the teams' wealth that was previously kept stored away, and event though the team was able to get some compensation after the fact, but the total scale of the damage was never truly quantified.

From a HF point of view, the war with [[Wog|WOG]] was inevitable, due to them already possessing HF coords at this time. The HF ethics committee has decided that a war with WOG and any of their allies was justified, hence why HF decided to approve of the operation, though it is worth noting, that such an outcome would have happened regardless, due to the fact that it was spearheaded by the HSH coalition, which ensured that every member, regardless of their previous convictions, would assist in raiding teams that were considered a threat to the coalition.

==== Event 2 conclusions: ====
The event concluded with the entirety of HF and most of HSS getting permabanned, since 2 of their members were caught cheating. This reduced the server population by over 70% which opened up a window for WOG to raid the base basically uncontested and most of it was destroyed in the attack. Despite this fact, the ME system actually remained standing, and the base could have been theoretically fully restored as the materials and machines obtained from the WOG raid were never placed down, since by this point most people lost interest in continuing to play.

Humanity First, as the name suggests, is primarily focused on PVE rather than PVP aspect of things, with the dominant ideology of the team being Neomarvinism, which, at it's core, states: "Nothing against humanity, everything for humanity, everything within humanity." causing most members of the team to see combat engagements with other teams as a "waste of time".

To really drive the point above home, the teams anthem makes several references to the unification of humanity under one banner and fighting against any alien threats that may arise during any events HF is present in. When '''Humanity First''' was formed, a system of accountability was also established. Under this system, making large and impactful decisions, such as banning or inviting new members, is impossible without a majority vote. Any of these decisions can be overridden by governing bodies, such as the Ethics Committee.

Furthermore, decisions which require immediate action can be undertaken by any member of the team and require no approval, provided these actions do not violate the core Ideology of the team.

Despite the above, the team does in fact have a "leader", going by the ign of [[Oliwier509]], who is responsible for the coup d'etat that led to the teams formation. Before he became the leader, he was the head of R&D department at Rhodes Island (Currently known as [[Rhine Labs]]). His current position within the team is unknown.

After the first event ended, the team has mostly fragmented with many people getting bored with playing and deciding to leave, especially after the famous corn-brick incident and the infamous [[#Fish-Bone incident|Fish-Bone Incident]].

This, however, did not stop '''[REDACTED]''' from taking interest in the team, and starting operation '''[REDACTED]''' which lead to '''[REDACTED]''' going into overdrive, thus nearly burning down the physical server it was hosted on. As time continued, more and more funding was granted to the operation, and more consultations were held with '''[REDACTED] T-3''' Especially after the '''[REDACTED]''' project and the '''[REDACTED]''' project. And so almost a year went by with nigh complete radio silence from the team, until finally one day the WF event became real. Members that haven't as much as looked at the discord server before this all started coming back, even our trusty text to speech discord bot saw a resurgence in popularity. And as they came, they went, radio silence has resumed.

== Ideology and Creation ==
Rhodes Island (RI for short) was created as a spiritual successor to the [[Cringe Union]]. It characterised itself as a neutral team that accepted just about anyone into it.

Led by [[Dr. Beako|Dr.Beako]] and [[Person Unnamed|PersonUnnamed]], it started gathering members for the SuSy event around a week before the actual minecraft server was opened to play on. The group was quickly formed, primarily thanks to the ease of joining the team. The recruitment process was rather simple, with most people being approved outright with very little questions asked.

The ideology of Rhodes Island, much like it's predecessor Cringe Union was to stay neutral towards everyone, having what Dr.Beako described as "John Wick mentality" and responding to threats with military action.

== Preparation for the event ==
During the pre-event time, the team has set up a training server, on which coordination between the members was practiced, as well as speed and general gamesense of everyone playing on it. The group managed to get to early LV during this practice run in the span of around 10 days of casual play.

Additionally, the idea of MARVIN was proposed by the head of R&D. Initially a meme, it was quickly discovered as a viable option for transport, as it was unlocked earlier than the elytra, it was (on average) faster than moving with a boat and land, and a single transport drone could support multiple people at once, provided that the system was supplied with enough of the desired resources (pigs).

The same system would later be utilized to extract [[Sailor]] from claimed spawn chunks, in which they were stuck in.

== The event itself ==
After the server opened properly, the members of RI grouped up in a designated location, and (after some confusion) set off in a massive boat convoy towards a nearby landmass. After some back and forth between the members on where to settle on, eventually [[Oliwier509]] would find a suitable spot. A desert right next to a river, a cobalt ore for opencomputers components, a federation outpost less than 300 blocks away, a desert pyramid temple and an orthomagmatic ore deposit to boot, overall one of the best places to base in during the event.

The base was originally intended to be in the beneath due to the vast amounts of anthracite found in it, but this idea was discarded as this area seemed more optimal for gaming. This was changed however, after the igblon log incident occurred, in which everyone's coordinates were leaked by the event organizer, truly a :fireinthehole: moment.

As such, the team was forced to move to a nearby island, it was far enough away for people that wanted to raid RI not to find it by accident, but close enough to still benefit from the natural resources of that land. The entire operation lasted a couple of hours, but in the end most of the base was moved over after a substantially large hole was prepared for it.

It was a few hours after the move that the team managed to create the necessary components for Marvin assembly, and the system was tested out at that time.

== The merges ==
During the event, RI has merged itself with multiple smaller teams looking for a place to stay, most notable of which being the NNZ, which has brought great talent into the team what will eventually save it from being wiped off the map. This however also destabilized the already struggling team, and many of the members from the merging teams would end up going their own way, joining other teams and sometimes even causing hostilities between themselves and RI.

== The problems ==
Due to the openness of inviting new members into the team, quite a substantial amount of spies have accumulated inside it, this lead to multiple counts of sabotage (such as the now infamous large bronze boiler explosion) and information leaking. Additionally due to the general lack of organisation, most members have been left without a task, which prompted them to leak even more information by releasing recordings of the base to the public, this resulted in the team being found and eventually raided by the GGI.

The GGI raid was partially caused by the team leaders assisting Sailor in a raid against them, but what actually was the final nail in the coffin, was failing to properly screen for people invited into the team, which led to [[SuperObama]] being not only invited into the team, but also shown around the base and shown the security system by the oblivious members.

What followed the raid on GGI was a relentless assault of suicide bombers on the RI base. [[WanderingHero]] has managed to sneak into the base, by changing his in-game name to Dr.Baeko, which managed to successfully fool the members of RI into lowering their guard just long enough to bomb every machine he could get his hands on. He was stopped in his tracks, but it would weaken the team and the base significantly.

== The Rising from the Ashes ==
After the team learnt of the raid by GGI, Oliwier509 has taken the executive decision to pack up the entire base, this was possible thanks to the absolute gigachad known as [[Illuminati_HD]], who thanks to his previous experience in the minecraft pro building scene, knew about the existence of little tiles storage blocks, and managed to create 7 containers large enough to fit the entire base into.

Once the raid begun, he instantly logged out, keeping the entire base safe with him, the remaining soldiers stayed behind to defend the base, but it was hopeless, as RI found themselves outnumbered and quickly overrun. Despite this, the team managed to meet up in a fake hill created around the ore deposit a few hours after the raid, and Illuminati_HD was able to safely log on. What followed was the biggest escort mission in gregtech gaming history, with the entire hive of RI members guarding our entire GDP.

At the same time, Oliwier509 has come into contact with [[Zalgo|Zalgo239]], who agreed to provide RI with coordinates near the PGS base as a last ditch effort to keep the team and the base safe. The team took until the server closing that day to complete the move, and have safely arrived at the agreed upon location mostly without incident.

== The downfall ==
After setting up the third and final base for the event, things appeared to be going smoothly, until one of the teams members decided to stage a mutiny. [[Rainboo]], who originally was a member of NNZ, has had enough of RI leaders, and decided to go on a rampage, killing everyone on sight. Despite his best efforts however, he was killed by PersonUnnamed during his escape from the base, and was later boxed in basalt by Oliwier509, who was camping his spawnpoint. (note that attempts to free Rainboo were made by ggi members, but they ended up killing themselves with their own explosives which is funny af. Their corpses have been discovered by the entrance to the new base)

As retaliation for being captured, Rainboo has decided to publicly leak the new bases coordinates, once again exposing not only the team but both the [[Peoples' Gregic Society|PGS]] and [[Republic of Newer Horizons|RONH]] (who have also based nearby) to attack.

Despite the fact that Rainboo killed many of RI members that day, most actually agreed with their takes on the current leaders, and would have probably helped him overthrow them had they known in advance he was planning something like this. This was later displayed, as Oliwier509 committing a coup d'état against PersonUnamed and Dr.Beako.

This saw most of the team joining Oliwier509 under a new name and banner of [[Humanity First]], with only a few individual choosing to stay with [[Penguin Logistics]] (PL) and some choosing to abandon everything all-together and go on their own way.

== The tragic end ==
After the split the newly formed factions immediately declared war on each other, said war has officially lasted for almost irl 2 years, and has resulted in much discord drama, much in-game drama and '''[my CRED supervisor will murder me if I tell you this]'''

== Epilogue ==
At the very end of the event, Oliwier509 would log into the game one last time, seeing the now rebranded HF base, somewhat destroyed by PL raiders, yet still somewhat standing, filled him with artistic inspiration strong enough to write a poem on the wall of his empty room, alongside blood trails made with redstone dust (as befits a retired mapmaker) leading all the way to a central area, which stored a 3D printed block of bedrock in a glass cage.

The contents of this poem, and the chest in which he buried lore-relevant objects are now considered lost media, due to igblon never getting around to editing the SuSy event videos.
